Everybody is God

And our theologians get rather worried about that

Because you see the two conceptions of God are different

Theirs is of the cosmic centipede

With the many arms

Who does not have to think

You may think it rather wonderful

When Saint Thomas tries to explain that God is fully aware of everything that

happens

And in every detail is willing

But when you really begin to think about it

That approach is intellectual elephantiasis

God heard the embattled nations shout

«God Strafe England» and «God save the King»

God this and God that and God the other thing

«Good God» said God «I've got my work cut out.»

das passiert

Und in jedem Detail ist bereit

Jede einzelne Schwingung

Von jedem Moskitoflügel

Aber wenn Sie wirklich anfangen, darüber nachzudenken

Dieser Ansatz ist intellektuelle Elephantiasis

Gott hörte die umkämpften Nationen schreien
