I was very insecure as a kid but I found a place

Inside myself where nobody could bully me, a haven

From that small-town mentality.

A state of mind where

My emotions all were, and still are, something I didn’t

Need to be ashamed of.

I still go to that place every

Day and shut the world out, just shut it all out.

It’s what

Keeps me going on when I feel I’m not so strong at all

It’s what keeps me holding on when I’m weak enough to

Fall.

Music lights a spark in me, finds the place where I

Can express myself and be heard.

And when I’m there I

Can stay for hours

Ein Geisteszustand wo

Meine Emotionen waren und sind immer noch etwas, das ich nicht hatte

Man muss sich schämen.

Ich gehe immer noch jeden Tag zu diesem Ort

Tag und schließ die Welt aus, schließ einfach alles aus.

Es ist was

Hält mich am Laufen, wenn ich das Gefühl habe, dass ich überhaupt nicht so stark bin

Es hält mich fest, wenn ich schwach genug dazu bin

Fallen.

Musik entfacht einen Funken in mir, findet den Ort, wo ich bin

Kann mich ausdrücken und gehört werden.

Und wenn ich da bin, ich

Kann stundenlang bleiben
