So if you really go the whole way and see how you feel at the prospect of

vanishing forever.

Of all your efforts, and all your achievements,

and all your attainments turning into dust and nothingness.

What is the

feeling?

What happens to you?

It’s a curious thing, that in the world’s poetry, this is a very common theme.

«The earthy hope men set their hearts upon turns ashes — or it prospers;

and anon;

Like snow upon the Desert’s dusty face lighting a little hour or two

— is gone

So in this way, by seeing that nothingness is the fundamental reality,

and you see it’s your reality, then how can anything contaminate you?

All the idea of your being scared and put out and worried and so on,

is just nothing, it’s a dream.

Because you’re really nothing.

So cheer up!

All the sun and the stars and the mountains, and rivers, and the good men and

bad men, and the animals, and the insects;

the whole bit.

All are contained in

void.

So out of this void comes everything and you are it.

What else could you

be?

But if somebody is going to argue that the basic reality is nothingness,

where does all this come from?

Obviously from nothingness

Was ist der

Gefühl?

Was passiert mit dir?

Es ist eine merkwürdige Sache, dass dies in der Poesie der Welt ein sehr verbreitetes Thema ist.

«Die irdischen Hoffnungsmenschen setzen ihr Herz darauf, dass es zu Asche wird – oder es gedeiht;

und bald;

Wie Schnee auf dem staubigen Gesicht der Wüste, der ein oder zwei Stunden lang leuchtet

- ist weg

Auf diese Weise, indem wir sehen, dass das Nichts die grundlegende Realität ist,

und du siehst, dass es deine Realität ist, wie kann dich dann irgendetwas kontaminieren?

Die ganze Vorstellung davon, dass du verängstigt und verärgert und besorgt bist und so weiter,

ist einfach nichts, es ist ein Traum.

Denn du bist wirklich nichts.

Also Kopf hoch!

All die Sonne und die Sterne und die Berge und Flüsse und die guten Männer und

böse Menschen und die Tiere und die Insekten;

das ganze bisschen.

Alle sind darin enthalten

Leere.

Aus dieser Leere kommt also alles und du bist es.

Was könntest du noch

sein?

Aber wenn jemand argumentieren will, dass die grundlegende Realität das Nichts ist,

wo kommt das alles her?
