It’s a lazy afternoon

All the beetle bugs are zooming

And the tulip treas are blooming

and there’s not another human in view

but us two

It’s a lazy afternoon

and the farmer does his reaping

in the meadow cows are creeping

and the speckled trout are leaping up street

as they do.

A fat pink cloud

hangs over the hill un folding like a rose

you can take my hand and sit real still

you can hear the grass as it grows.

und die gesprenkelten Forellen springen die Straße hinauf

Eine dicke rosa Wolke

hängt über dem Hügel und entfaltet sich wie eine Rose

Sie können meine Hand nehmen und ganz still sitzen
