Girls at the place just preparing the food

The sky was clear and the weather was cool

Kids at the playground playing on the merry go round

All the cars cruisin bumpin their funky sound

Cause it’s Sunday last day for a funday

Back to business as usual come Monday

At the park everything went real smooth…

Well the sun was set and it began to get dark

And we were getting ready to leave the park

Pack the stuff off and we was on our way

But the all actin soft as we pulled up

They was actin all shy to us

We found out and Jimmy hats were passed out

Der Himmel war klar und das Wetter war kühl

Kinder auf dem Spielplatz spielen auf dem Karussell

Denn es ist Sonntag, der letzte Tag für einen Funday

Kommenden Montag geht es wieder wie gewohnt weiter

Im Park lief alles ganz glatt…

Es ist eine gute Zeit, um herumzufahren

Auf dem Parkplatz, wo sich der Brownie stapelte

Und alle Vatos suchen nach Action, ja

Nun, die Sonne ging unter und es fing an, dunkel zu werden

Und wir machten uns bereit, den Park zu verlassen

Denn mit einer Kreuzfahrt durch Whittier beendeten wir unseren Nachmittag
