Early morning, rising with the sun

Resting where the sky meets the earth

Feeling the fired rays of sunlight reach into my soul

Where they reinstate the sense of my own self-worth

If you’re not good, you’re bad — that’s far too black and white

Behold the glorious sun in all it’s radiance bright

It too at times is obscured by the thick blue veil of night

Still the moon and all the stars continue to reflect its light

And so it is that we are good

Though we do not always do as we should

We loose track of right and wrong

And we’re not always standing strong

But still, don’t you want to believe

In things that eyes do not perceive

Like our light shining from within

That in a battle with our darkness can win

The gates of heaven open up before me

As my heart is given wings and flies

Leaving all pretense behind, everything is crystal clear

Even the worry of uncertainty subsides

They say the time will come for us to be reborn

Into the newness of unity that has been torn

Into duality, into: «It's us against them.»

It’s from that place of fear that all our conflicts stem

We’re almost there, but not yet, still — the stage is set

For the play we may enact according to our contract

That we made both and I with everybody in our home up high

To awaken from our deep and long undisturbed though hardly peaceful sleep

If to look is to know the grace which you bestow

Upon those that you would raise

Into a kind and loving gaze

Then to look is to see everyone as good as they can be

Ruhen, wo der Himmel auf die Erde trifft

Zu fühlen, wie die gefeuerten Sonnenstrahlen in meine Seele dringen

Wo sie mein Selbstwertgefühl wiederherstellen

Wenn du nicht gut bist, bist du schlecht – das ist viel zu schwarz und weiß

Seht die herrliche Sonne in all ihrem strahlenden Glanz

Auch sie wird manchmal vom dicken blauen Schleier der Nacht verdeckt

Dennoch reflektieren der Mond und alle Sterne weiterhin sein Licht

Und so sind wir gut

Obwohl wir nicht immer das tun, was wir sollten

Wir verlieren den Überblick über richtig und falsch

Und wir sind nicht immer stark

Aber trotzdem, willst du nicht glauben

In Dingen, die das Auge nicht wahrnimmt

Wie unser Licht, das von innen scheint

Das in einem Kampf mit unserer Dunkelheit gewinnen kann

Die Tore des Himmels öffnen sich vor mir

Wie mein Herz Flügel bekommt und fliegt

Alle Vortäuschungen hinter sich lassend, ist alles kristallklar

Sogar die Sorge vor der Unsicherheit lässt nach

Sie sagen, die Zeit wird kommen, in der wir wiedergeboren werden

In die Neuheit der zerrissenen Einheit

In die Dualität hinein, hinein: «Wir sind gegen sie.»

Von diesem Ort der Angst stammen alle unsere Konflikte

Wir sind fast da, aber noch nicht – die Bühne ist bereit

Für das Stück dürfen wir gemäß unserem Vertrag auftreten

Dass wir beide und ich mit allen in unserem Haus hoch oben gemacht haben

Um aus unserem tiefen und langen ungestörten, wenn auch kaum friedlichen Schlaf zu erwachen

Zu schauen bedeutet, die Gnade zu kennen, die du schenkst

Auf die, die du erheben würdest

In einen freundlichen und liebevollen Blick

Dann zu schauen bedeutet, jeden so gut zu sehen, wie er nur sein kann
