BOTH:

(To prove his dominance over STONE, STINE resumes typing,

reactivating MUNOZ, who steps back into the light)

MUNOZ:

(Spoken, to STONE)

STONE:

(MUNOZ punches STONE hard, in the stomach, sending STONE to his knees.

STONE stares at STINE, a character betrayed)

STONE:

(STINE, ignoring him, types four letters)

STINE:

«Fade…»

(Types three more letters)

«Out.»

(And the LIGHTS do just that, on MUNOZ and STONE. Then:)

STINE:

(Sings, triumphantly)

STINE:

Und die meisten Leute kennen deinen Namen nicht

BEIDE:

Du bist nichts ohne mich. Ohne mich würdest du einfach verschwinden

Rein in die Luft

Und niemanden würde es interessieren

Oder bemerken, dass Sie dort waren

Eine Marionette, ein Emporkömmling

Ein Verlierer, der dazu bestimmt ist zu fallen

STONE starrt STINE an, eine verratene Figur)

(STINE ignoriert ihn und tippt vier Buchstaben)

STINE:

"Verblassen…"

(tippt drei weitere Buchstaben)

"Aus."

(Und genau das machen die LIGHTS auf MUNOZ und STONE. Dann:)

STINE:

(Singt triumphierend)
