I don’t do well if I’m kept behind

This office desk inside

It makes me loose my mind

Which wanders endlessly

Where all the birds fly freely

With their silhouettes

In perfect symmetry

I got a pocketful of poetry

I’ve got a head full of songs

A heart with wings

You couldn’t tie me down to anything

And that’s enough for me

I draw doodles of eccentric faces

In the margin spaces

Of important papers

Then I hand them in

With a comedic grin

They ask if I need help

Oh, where do I begin'

I got a pocketful of poetry

People all good lovingly they tell me

Do as you should, all will be well, they say

Life is a test, please give the best answer

What if there’s so much more to me'

I got a pocketful of poetry

Es geht mir nicht gut, wenn ich zurückgehalten werde

Dieser Schreibtisch im Inneren

Es bringt mich dazu, meinen Verstand zu verlieren

Der endlos wandert

Wo alle Vögel frei fliegen

Mit ihren Silhouetten

In perfekter Symmetrie

Ich habe eine Tasche voller Gedichte

Ich habe den Kopf voller Songs

Ein Herz mit Flügeln

Du konntest mich an nichts binden

Und das reicht mir

Ich zeichne Kritzeleien von exzentrischen Gesichtern

In den Randbereichen

Von wichtigen Papieren

Dann gebe ich sie ab

Mit einem komischen Grinsen

Sie fragen, ob ich Hilfe brauche

Oh, wo fange ich an

Ich habe eine Tasche voller Gedichte

Ich habe den Kopf voller Songs

Ein Herz mit Flügeln

Du konntest mich an nichts binden

Und das reicht mir

Leute alle gut liebevoll sagen sie mir
