I cannot tell you all the reasons why

Jesus in his wisdom took an interest in my life

It must be endless the boundries of his grace

For he is patient with us and worthy to be praised

The Author of creation gave us life at his own cost

Ich kann Ihnen nicht alle Gründe dafür nennen

Jesus interessierte sich in seiner Weisheit für mein Leben

Die Grenzen seiner Gnade müssen endlos sein

Denn er ist geduldig mit uns und würdig, gelobt zu werden

Denn vor allem ist er mächtig

Und vor allem ist er der König

Und vor allem ist er barmherzig

Denn vor allem dachte er an mich

Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass es die Folter am Kreuz ist

Der Urheber der Schöpfung hat uns auf seine Kosten das Leben geschenkt

Und alle Anwesenden dachten, das Grab wäre das Ende

Aber Jesus erhob sich darüber – und ich werde es auch sein, mein Freund
