I’ve eaten goat and rabbit in the bush at times when stuck

And grilled a sand goanna flock pigeons and wild duck

I’ve also filled my tummy with black swan for a week

I’ve tried the snake and plover boiled galah and cockatoo

Had my share of emu eggs and steak from the kangaroo

I’ve even tackled saddle flaps with hunger at its peak
