Through the Fog - Adestria

This is where I belong.

It may not always feel right, but it never feels wrong.

I appreciate everything you do, this gift you’ve given me, this dream you’ve

helped me pursue.

This life that I lead is not something that I want, it’s something that I need.

Without this I’d be lost.

That’s not to say that I’ve found my way,

but I’m starting to see through the fog.

That doesn’t mean that' I’ve learned anything about who I’m supposed to be,

but in this moment all that matters is that I’m free.

I am free.

I am free to be me.

I found a home, the only place that I don’t feel alone.

(found my security)

Without this I’d be lost.

That’s not to say that I’ve found my way,

but I’m starting to see through the fog.

That doesn’t mean that' I’ve learned anything about who I’m supposed to be.

This is who I’m supposed to be.

When even home feels strange, this is my escape, a thousand miles away.

A place I can hide from the weight of the world and the vices inside.

Hier gehöre ich hin.

Es fühlt sich vielleicht nicht immer richtig an, aber es fühlt sich nie falsch an.

Ich schätze alles, was du tust, dieses Geschenk, das du mir gemacht hast, diesen Traum, den du hast

hat mir geholfen, weiterzumachen.

Dieses Leben, das ich führe, ist nicht etwas, das ich will, es ist etwas, das ich brauche.

Ohne das wäre ich verloren.

Das soll nicht heißen, dass ich meinen Weg gefunden habe,

aber ich fange an, durch den Nebel zu sehen.

Das bedeutet nicht, dass ich irgendetwas darüber gelernt habe, wer ich sein soll,

aber in diesem Moment zählt nur, dass ich frei bin.

Ich bin frei.

Ich bin frei, ich zu sein.

Ich habe ein Zuhause gefunden, den einzigen Ort, an dem ich mich nicht allein fühle.

Wenn sich selbst Zuhause seltsam anfühlt, ist dies meine Flucht, tausend Meilen entfernt.

Ein Ort, an dem ich mich vor dem Gewicht der Welt und den Lastern darin verstecken kann.
