In the midst of tripping out about everything

I realized I don’t know what I’m doing

I’m kind of worthless right now due to circumstance

As anything more than a person just to sleep with

I can’t be a boyfriend but I promise

To be a considerate one-night stand

Well, I said that once and it really didn’t work

Even though I meant it but I guess

I don’t really know anyone who wants to hear that

Well, maybe, I don’t really mean it

'Cause I like people too much

Even if what I have to offer is not really enough

Or anything more than

Your needs are pretty much the same
