Wherever the wind will take me is where I belong

I will always follow everything that is wrong

Backyards or alleyways, desert plains

The feather in the breeze, I keep floating along

Always twisting turning towards the light of the dawn

Lost in the dusty haze of grain and maze

Somewhere in a ravine along the side of the road

A blown out tire has left some sad soul waiting for a tow

All his life he’s been running late, now he’s got nothing but time to sit and

contemplate

And he says why God does it have to be this way

And in his anger he questions all of life and what it all means

And at that moment he sees this weathered feather in the breeze

As he wonders from where it came, it lands softly on his shoulder and tells him

its all okay

Ein geplatzter Reifen hat eine traurige Seele zurückgelassen, die auf einen Abschleppwagen wartet

Sein ganzes Leben lang ist er spät dran, jetzt hat er nichts als Zeit zum Sitzen und Verweilen

betrachten

Und er sagt, warum Gott es so machen muss

Und in seiner Wut hinterfragt er das ganze Leben und was es alles bedeutet

Und in diesem Moment sieht er diese verwitterte Feder im Wind

Als er sich fragt, woher es kommt, landet es sanft auf seiner Schulter und sagt es ihm

es ist alles in Ordnung
