Today - Eiffel 65

I’m saying good morning but it’s not that way

I should be blaming the weather today

Or is it that noisy sledge hammer

Of my freaky neighbor

It’s kinda early to talk right now

Later on we can work it out

So why don’t you understand

That I’m off the hook and wanna be alone

All I want is breakfast right now

To get this morning rolling on somehow

I begining to smile with cheesecake (?)

Now I feel awake and so I Just don’t care

Although that somebody drives without care

It was sunny but now it’s raining

And I wonder why I’m complaining cause

I am standing proudly today

There is nothing to complain of and everything will roll on I am standing proudly today

And there is no special reason

that makes me smile throughout the seasons

Ich sollte heute dem Wetter die Schuld geben

Oder ist es dieser laute Vorschlaghammer?

Von meinem verrückten Nachbarn

Es ist noch etwas früh, darüber zu sprechen

Später können wir es klären

Warum verstehst du das nicht?

Dass ich aus dem Schneider bin und allein sein möchte

Alles, was ich will, ist jetzt Frühstück

Um diesen Morgen irgendwie in Gang zu bringen

Ich fange an zu lächeln mit Käsekuchen (?)

Jetzt fühle ich mich wach und es ist mir einfach egal

Obwohl, dass jemand sorglos fährt

Es war sonnig, aber jetzt regnet es

Und ich frage mich, warum ich mich beschwere

Plötzlich kann ich die Sonnenstrahlen spüren

Hat sie von dem lauten Vorschlaghammer abgelenkt

von meinem freakigen Nachbarn

Ich weiß, dass es ziemlich schwierig wird

Sich zurückhalten, nicht in die Luft jagen, wenn es eine Diskussion gibt

Ich versuche, mich festzuhalten und alle Ablenkungen zu vermeiden

Es ist keine Frage von falsch oder richtig

Es gibt keinen Gewinner, wenn es einen Kampf gibt

Ich kann sagen, dass ich mich leichter fühle

Alles ist heller und deshalb ist es mir einfach egal
