The anchor will split the sea

The trampled dancefloor will dream

She casts herself as a tree

It’s hard to get around

Confusion in the place where you go to drown

There’s always rain in the clouds

And if you feel it, you feel it comin' loud

There’s always the sky, always the ground

There’s always the highway, the cars surround

There’s always a kitten, always a hound

So arrows will split the trees

And there’ll be new things to see

And hard times for you and me

Aren’t half as difficult at they used to be

Sometimes I feel there’s nothing that I can’t be

And there’s not a monster I’m scared to meet

Just take all of my stuff, throw it in the street

With all the other worried, defensive creeps

And meet me on the dancefloor
