Sunlight, it breaks upon the sand

Wind piling, all the leaves are gone

I stop and listen for the gulls today

Fly high above the morning boats ohh

Waves roll up gently to the shore

Tempting, the water seems so cold

The light, it shimmers in the glare of days gone by

The flare too far to memories left behind

Windhaufen, alle Blätter sind weg

Wellen rollen sanft zum Ufer
