Later that night when they had left and I sat there with all this food,

the tears just came.

It was like that’s when it all hit me what was going on.

Also brachten sie mir äthiopisches Brot und Essen und alles, wie es bei ihnen Brauch ist

Kultur, dies zu tun, wenn sich jemand schlecht fühlt oder eine schwere Zeit durchmacht.

Aber ich konnte mich nicht einmal mit ihnen zusammensetzen, weil ich so fertig war.

Später am Abend, als sie gegangen waren und ich mit all dem Essen da saß,

die Tränen kamen einfach.

Es war, als würde mir alles klar, was los war.

Department of NK, ein Olivenbaum, Boxhandschuhe mit der amerikanischen Flagge drauf,

ein Sparschwein aus Plüsch, ein japanisches Wörterbuch, eine goldene Geldbörse, ein Erotikbrett

Da saß ein Ex und natürlich war es dir egal, dass er neu ist
