Catamaran, alone, adrift, and upside-down

I drop the axe, and ran to put our fire out

Took the baby to the deep woods with the gun and the radio

I stayed to stamp the fire out that had burned since the lights had gone

I miss old friends and Googling but I’m happy we’re safe

On an island that used to be a KOA

I took out the bridge with the propane tanks from this Airstream

Burns dry, but a little too nice to be safe

Washing clothes in the kids pool, layin' them out on the cracked concrete

I’m chopping up the camping cabins, cause the wood burns slow

And clean
