Saturn V pushed up strong

At rocket speed

We broke through

The stratosphere

Gravity

Is now so light

While we continue

Our journey in silence

Touch the ground

For the first time

Open the lem’s door

Let’s start the moon dance

From this corner of the universe

The earth is looking blue

In this corner of the universe

3 men walk on the moon

Look at us touching this pale

Grey ball up here

For thousand of years

Distant untouchable

Now here we are

Fragile and small

Touching the stars

There’s no wind

And there’s no sky

And all the mountains

Are looking so damn high

Here the loneliness

Is screaming loud

The panorama is breathtaking though

Alles gut rechtzeitig

Saturn V schob stark nach oben

Mit Raketengeschwindigkeit

Wir brachen durch

Die Stratosphäre

Schwere

Ist jetzt so leicht

Während wir fortfahren

Unsere Reise in Stille

Den Boden berühren

Zum ersten Mal

Öffne die Tür des Lems

Beginnen wir den Mondtanz

Bodenkontrolle

Aus dieser Ecke des Universums

Die Erde sieht blau aus

In dieser Ecke des Universums

3 Männer laufen auf dem Mond

Sieh uns an, wie wir diesen Pfahl berühren

Grauer Ball hier oben

Seit tausend Jahren

Ferne unantastbar

Jetzt sind wir hier

Zerbrechlich und klein

Die Sterne berühren

Es gibt keinen Wind

Und es gibt keinen Himmel

Und alle Berge

Sehen so verdammt hoch aus

Hier die Einsamkeit

Schreit laut

Das Panorama ist jedoch atemberaubend
